This Argentina project was designed for lettuce and fresh-cut salad vegetable processing. Leafy vegetables are soft and easily damaged, so the washing process needed to remove soil and impurities while keeping the leaves suitable for packing or cutting.
Joyshine configured a 300kg/h line with multi-stage bubble washing, air drying and a vegetable cutter. The connected workflow helps the customer move from raw leafy vegetables to washed and cut salad material with less manual handling.
