A 500kg/h strawberry washing and drying project in Guatemala, designed for gentle bubble washing, smooth transfer, surface water reduction and inspection before packing.
Project Facts
| Client Country | Guatemala |
|---|---|
| Region | south-america |
| Raw Material | Strawberry |
| Capacity | 500kg/h |
| Raw Material Condition | Fresh strawberries with delicate skin, surface dust and high sensitivity to impact during washing and transfer. |
This Guatemala strawberry project focused on gentle washing and surface water reduction for fresh fruit processing. Strawberries are fragile, so the washing line had to remove dust and light impurities while reducing impact during transfer.
Joyshine configured a 500kg/h line with sorting, gentle bubble washing, roller air drying and inspection. The line helps the customer improve consistency before packing while keeping daily operation and cleaning practical.
Customer Requirements
- Gentle washing - Clean strawberries without bruising or surface damage
- Stable output - Process about 500kg/h in daily production
- Surface water reduction - Dry fruit before inspection or packing
- Practical layout - Fit the customer's available factory space
- Easy cleaning - Keep daily sanitation simple for fresh fruit production
Line Process Flow
- Manual sorting - Remove unsuitable fruit before washing
- Gentle bubble washing - Clean strawberries with low-impact water movement
- Soft transfer - Reduce dropping height between machines
- Roller air drying - Remove surface water while protecting fruit shape
- Inspection - Final check before packing
Installation and Results
The project layout was planned for continuous fresh strawberry processing. Machine speed and transfer height were adjusted to reduce fruit collision.
- Capacity - Configured for 500kg/h strawberry processing
- Fruit protection - Low-impact washing and transfer reduced handling damage
- Drying effect - Surface water was reduced before inspection
- Operation - The line is suitable for daily cleaning and fresh fruit packing
